Annual quality audit: results and follow-up

Our annual internal audit covered incoming inspection, SMT traceability and final test records. Two process changes are now in place.

The audit sampled 40 work orders across intercom, camera and charger lines. Traceability from reel to finished carton was complete in all but two orders, where manual rework had been recorded on paper rather than in the system.

As a result, rework stations now scan the work order before any repair is logged, and the shift supervisor reviews open rework at the end of each shift. Both changes were verified in a follow-up check four weeks later.

Incoming inspection also moved to a sampling plan based on supplier history, which reduced average inspection time per lot without increasing defect escape.
